Total Recruit Ltd is a privately owned recruitment company providing permanent and temporary staffing services to its clients. As part of its services, Total Recruit Ltd recognises that some of the sectors in which its clients operate, maybe more susceptible to human trafficking and slavery than others. Total Recruit Ltd is committed to Compliance and Ethical Standards. We always strive to operate within the best practices. We believe that, our strict processes and policies implemented by ourselves and our partners, can identify any signs of human trafficking and slavery exploitation within our supply chains.

All directors of Total Recruit Ltd believe that eliminating slavery in any form from its supply chain is fundamental and central to the aims and values of Total Recruit Ltd.
As soon as a potential candidate applies for work/registration, our thorough checks begin. This will include ensuring that the candidate has control of their own ID, multiple address checks and next of kin checks to name a few. We ensure that our internal checks continue every day, monitoring potential risks. We extend further checks to our client’s sites to identify signs of slavery and human trafficking occurring. A one to one interview is held with all candidates to ensure they can speak in confidence and can freely attend.

All of our branches, onsite and client’s sites have multilingual literature for candidates, which gives them information and contact details for relevant authorities if they require. Total Recruit Ltd also have a confidential dedicated telephone number for candidates 07908 103 706. This is on the weekly payslips and all posters throughout all our locations.

Total Recruit Ltd has a modern slavery policy. This supports the training provided to employees and educates on factors which could indicate that a candidate may be subject to undue influence. Employees are actively encouraged to report any suspicious activity or circumstances to the dedicated compliance team immediately on 07717 840 851.

We are committed to ensuring transparency in our own business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains. We expect the same high standards of our business partners also.

Our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery & human trafficking is communicated to all suppliers, contractors and business partners. This is at the outset of our business relationship with them and reinforced as appropriate, thereafter.

Ultimate responsibility for the prevention of modern slavery & human trafficking rests with the Company’s Directors. They have overall responsibility for ensuring this statement and policy complies with legal and ethical obligations.

This Anti-Slavery Policy will be reviewed annually by the Total Recruit Ltd Directors and may be amended from time to time.
