Pay Rate: £27,560 per annum

This is a permanent position.

Training 21:00 – 05:30
After training set hours are: 19:30 – 04:00
5 over 6 days (every Saturday off)

Total Recruit are recruiting for a fantastic role on behalf of our client who are a leading
Yorkshire Food Wholesaler.

You will be working as part of a team, responsible for fulfilling customer orders ensuring they are picked and packed to the highest standards. The Order Picker is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is key. This is a hybrid position covering warehouse duties, delivery driving, and order picking.

Training: Full training will be given; some will be online access and will be done at induction and hands on Training will be done on the job

Order Picking: Efficiently pick customer orders to a high standard for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Marking orders as requested.

Deliveries: Orders must be left as instructed by customer, checked off at site and signed for temperature recorded and driver manifest to be completed.

Cleaning: Ensuring that all areas of the warehouse, dry stores and yard are maintained to the highest of standards throughout the night.
Upon return to the warehouse, you designated vehicle must be emptied of pallets and crates, washed externally & internally to the rear cab wiped and cleaned

Quality: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Attention to detail is key.

Refuelling: The vehicle must be refuelled upon return ready for the next morning.

Debrief: The Office/Transport manager will carry out a debrief where your completed manifest will be returned and any issues raised.

Other Duties: Ad-hoc warehouse duties and inventories as required.

Safety: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Conduct operations in a manner that complies with company safety procedures.

• Full UK Driving Licence with proven experience driving large vans.
• Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence with recent operational experience (counterbalance)
• Night Shift Experience: Must be comfortable working nights in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy required for order picking.
