Location: Bradford, BD1

Pay Rate: £12.71—£13.60 per hour depending on experience

Hours / days: 7.30am—4pm, Monday to Friday

This is a temp to perm vacancy for the right candidates

Total Recruit are recruiting for their new client who are a well established, successful business who produce samples for the wholesale industry. Using an overlock machine and other sewing machines you will produce high quality samples in a fast paced production environment.

Duties will include:

· Using an industrial overlock sewing machine, ensuring durable, professional seams to produce samples

· Operating flatbed and twin needle machines

· Working with various materials from delicate fabrics to thick upholstery

· Quality control, checking seams are consistent

· Performing basic machine maintenance, cleaning and re-threading etc.

· Understanding different stitch types.

Skills Required:

· Previous experience as a sewing machinist is essential

· You must have overlock sewing experience

· Working in a similar, fast paced production / industry is advantageous

· The ability to work efficiently in a high speed and high volume production environment
