Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for manufacturing? We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Line Technician to join our prestigious, successful client’s growing food production team.

As a Line Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our production lines operate safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working alongside production, technical and engineering teams, you’ll help deliver excellent products while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the operation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating and optimising food production equipment to achieve production and quality targets
- Monitoring product quality to ensure all products meet specification standards
- Carrying out routine operational, hygiene and safety checks
- Supporting raw material intake and finished product dispatch activities
- Monitoring plant performance and making adjustments to maximise efficiency
- Identifying and resolving operational issues to minimise downtime
- Assisting with planned maintenance activities and reporting equipment concerns
- Completing HACCP, CCP and food safety checks in line with company procedures
- Cleaning equipment and production areas to maintain high hygiene standards
- Maintaining accurate production, quality and stock records
- Contributing ideas and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For

- Practical, hands-on and mechanically minded
- Experienced within a food manufacturing environment, this is essential
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and hygiene
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Organised with strong problem-solving abilities
- Calm, focused and methodical when working under pressure
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to work
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced production setting
- Positive, reliable and a strong communicator
- Confident using computers, including Excel and production systems
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Mechanical or engineering knowledge is advantageous
- Understanding of HACCP and food safety systems is essential
- Experience working with automated production equipment
