This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience across both the workshop and stores functions, developing valuable mechanical assembly, warehouse, and stock control skills while working towards your future career.</p>
<p>No two days are the same—you&#8217;ll be involved in everything from assembling equipment and preparing components to managing stock and ensuring the workshop runs smoothly.</p>

<p>As part of the team, you&#8217;ll learn how to:</p>

<li>Receive and process incoming deliveries.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate workshop and stock records using computer systems.</li>

<li>Follow Quality, Health, Safety &amp; Environmental (QHS&amp;E) procedures at all times.</li>
<li>Support general warehouse and workshop activities as required.</li>

<li>Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts including Routing, Switching, Firewalling, including Layer 7 firewalls</li>
<li>Ability to diagnose complex faults, document, communicate and follow up corrective actions</li>
<li>Good experience with modern digital satellite communications &amp;/or IT systems</li>

<p>As a System Design Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in working alongside engineering and project teams to produce electrical and mechanical drawings.</p>
<p>· A minimum qualification HND/HNC, apprenticeship, or equivalent, along with proven knowledge of and adherence to EU directives electrical safety and compliance.</p>
<p>· A minimum of five years of experience in electrical / systems design desirable.</p>
<p>· Experience in electrical engineering regulatory environment for electrical installations including BS7671 wiring regulations (18th edition) and the Electricity at Work Act is advantageous.</p>
<p>· Proficient in the use of recognised drawing standards, including Knowledge of BS8888 2017.</p>
<p>· Familiarity with relevant technical standards is required for both EMC and LVD.</p>
<p>· Ability to develop design concepts from first principles with proven engineering design skills and strong knowledge of manufacturing techniques and material properties..</p>

<p>· Production of STEP files for transfer to customer/clients as required.</p>
<p>· Ability to take a rough mechanical design and turn into a refined drawing outputs.</p>

<p>· Experienced user of a CAD package such as AutoCAD. Ideally experience of an Electrical CAD package e.g. SEE Electrical / ETAP.</p>
<p>· Minimum four years’ experience in production of electronic and mechanical drawings at a significant quantity.</p>
<p>· Ability to work hard, show tenacity, proactively work on own initiative, solve problems using own judgement, meet tight deadlines and balance priorities to achieve results.</p>
<p>· Must hold, or have the ability to achieve SC Security Clearance.</p>
<p>· Experienced in standard office applications.</p>
<p>· The ability to produce a high standard of work which meets or exceeds customer’s requirements.</p>
<p>· Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an advantage, but not essential.</p>

<p>· Design and execute test plans for new battery products under development</p>
<p>· Develop test specifications in line with customer requirements and SPQP standards</p>
<p>· Conduct failure mode analysis and support prevention activities to improve product reliability</p>
